The best freezer to slow cooker meals (we eat these every month!)

If you want the benefits of freezer cooking but don’t want to spend a day cooking for the future then this list of the best freezer to slow cooker meals is for you! These super easy to prep meals are dumped into a freezer bag and prepped quickly, then thawed and dumped into your slow cooker for an instant no fuss dinner.

Update: 4/5/20 I know how stressful it is right now to be cooking 2-3 times a day while you’re also trying to work, “home school”, referee kids, and get your house under control. We created an epic inspiration binder of the easiest cheap meals. These ideas are field-tested by hundreds of thousands of our readers and are guaranteed to help even the most overwhelmed mom stick to a meal plan.

And we’re giving it to you 100% free right now so you can use it to help you get through this time. And bonus: You’ll end up using it long after the pandemic is over.

Grab it for free here…

These recipes are so easy to make, that you can usually prep and freeze 10 meals in less than an hour.

Trust me on this, if you’ve never freezer cooked before… start with this. You’ll be addicted in no time. Which, really… if you’re going to get addicted to something… this is the thing you want to get addicted to! It saves you money, time and feeds your family better.

We save a small fortune on freezer cooking and it’s been a core element of our financial transformation. Once you find your favorites, make a list of them. having a short list of the best freezer to slow cooker recipes right in your kitchen makes cooking day a snap!

Obviously, you need a slow cooker for this style of cooking. Thankfully, they’re pretty cheap. If you don’t have one and you work outside the home, this is the slow cooker that I recommend.

If you stay at home and want to save a few dollars, you can get a manual slow cooker (I recommend this one), you’ll lose the ability to have it automatically transfer to “warm setting” when it’s done cooking, but if you stay home and can remember to switch it yourself, you don’t really need that.

The only problem is that there are about a million slow cooker recipes out there and it’s hard to know which are amazing and which are… not.

So I wrote down my family’s favorites. In fact, we eat these so often, that we almost make them every month.

Each recipe is field tested and “Groner family approved”. I suspect you’ll love them as much as we do!

When you want to branch out, the best resource around is this freezer cooking program we used to cut our grocery bill in half. It lets us make 10 meals in an hour and I can hand pick freezer to slow cooker meals for work days, and more elaborate meals for weekends.

Love the quick and easy recipes! We use our crock pot a lot so this is extremely helpful! I do not like tons of prep work so thank you for the recommendations!

I have been using this chilli for years & it’s incredibly easy & tastes awesome.
I use my biggest slow cooker, put in a good layer of cooked ground beef & the biggest bottle of salsa I can find.
I usually cook it on low overnight or prepare it before bed & turn it on in the morning.
It’s a no brainer. All the seasonings are in the salsa unless you want to add jalapeños to spice it up a bit more.
