Not Your Mother’s Make-Ahead &
Freeze Cookbook Sweepstakes!
Start The New Year Off Right With Better Food, More Time, and More Money Saved!
My life was changed when my friend Caroline formerly of crumblingcookies.com introduced me to this cookbook in September. Seriously. This has been a game changer in the Groner Household. Not Your Mother’s Make Ahead and Freeze Cookbook by Jessica Fisher taught me how to batch cook and stock my freezer with amazing, delicious food, and let me get my monthly grocery budget down to about $295/month. There are so many amazing recipes in here, not just casseroles! It has tons of recipes for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. It’s so much more than a recipe book though, she teaches you step by step to choose a way to batch cook that works with your lifestyle, and then how to plan a batch cooking session. I do once a month batch cooking sessions (you can read more about that here), and through that, I have gotten my grocery budget to an all time low, saved about 9 hours a week that I would normally have to cook and grocery shop, have one less load of dishes per day and a considerably shorter kitchen clean up. I would recommend this way of cooking to anyone!
When I was searching for my first blog sweepstakes, this cookbook was a no brainer. The giveaway starts on Sunday December 7th 2014 and runs until Sunday December 21st 2014. To enter the contest, see the box below:
