Thank you so much to Walmart for sponsoring today’s post. All opinions are mine and mine alone.
WHY PHOTO GIFTS MAKE THE BEST FRUGAL GIFTS
Gift giving can be stressful sometimes when you’re on a budget. You don’t want to break the bank, but you also don’t want to waste money on gifts they don’t even like or use.
If you’re artistically inclined, maybe you can get away with making gifts yourself, which is great! But what if you have no idea how to knit, and the mixtape idea is a little overdone?
A favorite gift of ours has long been photo gifts. They’re great for a number of reasons.
They’re inexpensive.
Photo gifts suit any budget. If you’re operating on a really tight budget, square prints and collage prints start at just .13 from Walmart.com Photo. A great way to send meaningful, inexpensive gifts is to send photo cards. Walmart offers lots of different size and finish options, and great design template options. Plus, all their in-store cards come with premium foil-lined envelopes at no additional charge.
They’re meaningful.
One way we make sure to stay frugal is by limiting the amount of “stuff” we accumulate, which means the stuff we do have needs to have a purpose. It makes me happy to see my husband doing what he does best: being a dad. Having the picture on a mug means I get to enjoy it more often and simultaneously enjoy a cup of coffee.
They can be really useful.
As with the mug above, it’s great to know that extra gift I’ve gotten will go to use and not just sit around until the next yard sale. Walmart offers lots of different mug and tumbler designs to give the people in your life a practical and meaningful gift.
They’re convenient.
I know I’m not the only one who’s procrastinated buying a gift for someone until the last minute. Many of the photo gifts from Walmart Photo Center can be ordered and picked up the same day for no additional charge, including prints, cards, canvas and mounted photos (the latter starting at only $9.96 at Walmart’s everyday low price), and even photo books.
They win brownie points.
How many of you have baby books that are unfinished, or thousands of pictures of your children sitting on your computer? Making a photo book of these photos is a great idea for a gift for their grandparents. Starting at just $24 for a photo book that is ready same day, you can win some much-needed brownie points from your parents or in-laws, and maybe score babysitting for a date night. Win-win!
Interested in photo gifts for your next gift giving occasion?
Walmart Photo Center has 3500+ locations nationwide where you can pick up many products same day, and they can also be ordered online. It’s easy to upload your own photos (even those from Facebook or Instagram) on their website, and if you go in-store, you can connect to their kiosk with a USB or the Fujifilm Kiosk Photo Transfer App.
When do you give photo gifts?

May I say, that this is one of the best-sponsored posts that I have seen in a long time. It is one that I can see as being real, and realistic. I see a lot of other sites do sponsored-posts that obviously sponsored. I tend to skip them after about a paragraph, becuase they seem just that fake and sponsored. But I wanted to comment that this one actually worked not, only for your sponsor but your website, in keeping with the theme/brand. Thank you for showing that you can make it work honestly.
(The post was also well written and a great idea that people tend to forget about.)

It’s also worth noting that other service providers frequently have sales/promotions, and you can get some good deals from time to time.
In addition, you can turn photos into “paintings” with some online software such as picmonkey or dreamscopeapp before taking them to be printed.
