DIY Life Skills Course For a Happy Home
Last year, I created my own year long life skills course to teach myself everything I needed to know about how to run a happy home. It was a wild success and I loved it! I even got a few close friends to join me, which made it more fun to compare notes.
I only missed one month of training last year (December, of course!), but made it up in January. I am so excited to continue that journey this year! I’m doing the same thing and wanted to tell you about it in case you want to join me!
Why am I doing this?
Does your home stress you out? Are you sick of the endless dishes and laundry? Do you feel overwhelmed just doing the things you need to do to run your home? You aren’t alone! I felt the same way!
These are all skills that you need to master. You aren’t born with these skills, and most of us didn’t learn them as children (and certainly not in the one home economics class we got in school).Well, I did something about it last year.
I homeschooled myself. Not my kids. Myself. I used the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle to set up a year of curriculum to cover the life skills that I need to run an efficient, intentional, and peaceful home.
And now, I’m doing it again this year.
The Ultimate Bundles are a HUGE library of the best hand-picked resources from your favorite websites offered on a particular topic. The Homemaking Bundle is my favorite! We’re talking online classes, eCourses, audio courses, eBooks and printables!
Ultimate Bundles gets permission from the authors to sell these resources at 97% off for 48 hours. This year’s sale started on April 27th 2016 and runs until May 2nd 2016.
Want to take a peek at this year’s curriculum? All of these are included in the bundle along with tons of others! You can pick and choose your own curriculum from the homemaking library. I’m scheduling my topics by month. This worked out really well last year.
Every month, I read the book or tackle the training or e-course and put what I learned into practice. I get to enjoy the fruits of my labor for years to come.
Want to join me? You can grab your bundle here.
